Solving a Hatchlo level is satisfying in itself, but the creature that hatches at the end is the real reward. There are 15 to collect, from chicks and penguins to baby dragons and phoenixes.
Three kinds of creatures
- Common creatures hatch as you work through the campaign.
- Rare creatures hatch when you finish a level at par, the minimum number of moves.
- Legendary creatures are earned through daily streaks: play the daily egg day after day.
The daily mystery egg
Every day there is a new egg, the same for everyone. When you finish, you get a short result you can share with friends without spoiling the solution. Keep your streak going and the legendary creatures come within reach.
Your nest
Hatched creatures move into your nest, where they wander, nap and love a good tap. The feathers you earn by playing can buy decorations, so the nest slowly becomes your own.
The album
The album shows every creature you have met and those still to find. If one is missing, check which kind it is: a rare one probably needs a replay of an earlier level at par.
Tips for completing the collection
- Replay earlier levels and aim for par. You will often see a shorter route than the first time.
- Play the daily egg, even on busy days. A streak is built of small steps.
- Use Zen mode when you want a relaxing puzzle without counters.
Planning a par run
Rare creatures hatch when you finish a level at par, so it pays to learn the habit of looking for the shortest route. Before you tap, trace what each ring has to do, and look for moves that serve two purposes at once. If you finish above par, do not worry: replay the level and use Undo to explore a shorter path. Many players find that the second attempt is faster than the first, because they now know where the problem lies.
Daily eggs and streaks
Every day brings one mystery egg, the same for everyone. Playing it each day builds a streak, and long streaks are how the legendary creatures hatch. You can share your result with friends as plain text that does not reveal the solution, so everybody can compare without spoilers.
Little rituals for your nest
- Visit the nest after each hatching and see who has moved in.
- Tap a creature: they love it, and each has its own little reaction.
- Spend your feathers on decorations a few at a time, so there is always something to look forward to.
- Come back for the daily egg even on busy days; one short puzzle is enough to keep a streak alive.
Collecting at your own pace
There are fifteen creatures in total, and no timer on collecting them. If you want a break from counting moves, Zen mode offers endless eggs with no counters and no stars, ideal for an evening when you just want to see something hatch.
